Poem: Untitled by Anonymous

Watching lightning dance
across my ceiling in a twisted whirl
of flickering blaze and
flitting joyously about the rich rumbling sky,
unknowingly hiding the glittering celestial sights
in a simple rejoicing of life and beauty.
It can never again to be replicated in the same way.

In much the same way,
We hold each other close
Heated breath stolen by unstoppable laughter,
Potent in its quiet helplessness,
The same feeling that shines out of your eyes
As you catch both your breath and my stare
I gaze at you in amazement.
Because the way you look now,
Lightning and love blazed across your face
can never again to be replicated.
