Poem: I had a way of only hearing the galloping, then when the canons were blasted. by Toto

“Must keep going”,

The thud of my horse’s hooves

Had to silence the

boom after boom;

Sounds marking

The unwanted delivery

Of their gifts for us,

Called

Agony.

The only antidote of our pain,

is help for the helpless,

And if not that then,

Honor the pain

Of the

Gone.

And I had a knack for getting

To that remedy.

Until one day,

When I’d become

a part of it

Myself.

But even then,

The galloping,

Could be heard.

And even then,

Did we,

Live on.

  1. When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added”
checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the
same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that
    service? Thanks a lot!
